Default F Style Trident Wheels

Anyone get or see one with the F style Trident wheels yet. Hearing they are on hold and the dealers can't order.

Not yet, but I'd sure like to. My dealer (Lexus of PDX) has a black one with some aftermarket black wheels on. Looks SICK... I'm definitely going to do a summer wheel upgrade, and want to see the Tridents in person.

What size aftermarket wheels were they? Did you happen notice?

i think there are better options out there to spend your $$ on as far as wheels go. why are people so interested in dealer rims?

Could not agree with you more. I wouldn't EVER buy rims from the dealer, unless they were an upgraded stock (like the trident on this car). Even with the credit you get for not taking delivery of the wheels that came on the car, the wheels on the one on the showroom floor were.... ready steady.... $3500.

Saw ones extremely similar at Tirerack that were running $1500 WITH TIRES. So when I upgrade the wheels I'm going to put snows on the factory ones and throw them on for the winter months.

I take it you didn't get a chance to take a cell phone pic?

Great idea. That's what I did with my current car and plan on doing if/when I pull the trigger on purchasing a CT. It's funny, I haven't even bought the car yet, but am already rim shopping! I think I've made a final decision too, just awaiting my friend to Photoshop them on for me.

Drat. I didn't. If the car is still there next week when I return home I'll run over and grab a few to post.

Am I crazy, or where these wheels available on the build your own section of lexus.com a few weeks ago? I know they were on the spec page when it was still darkersideofgreen.com but I swear I remember seeing them on the actual lexus page too.

They were and said 'See Dealer'

They are on 'Factory Hold' right now with no estimated ship date.

Toyota has been absurdly slow getting 5th Gen 4Runner TRD accessories out, so I have a feeling that the CT will suffer similarly.

My dealer said that they can't even order it yet...they did offer an interesting option though...black chrome rims - don't know how popular they are though but look decent, especially on a silver car (sorry, Tungsten Pearl)

I know it's frustrating. I had the wheels added in to my financing and deal so I'm paying for them already. Hearing June maybe, but same as you the dealers are still unable to order.
