Visual Garage Sharkfin Antenna
#16
Matt,
like your choice of colour and the tinting, I'm driving the same colour here in Australia.
Unfortunately regulations here in Australia don't allow the level of tinting that you've installed. If it's too dark and you get stopped by the cops they'll dish out a ticket.
I'm tempted to order the shark fin for my car, what's the cost?
By the way, what's that on the fuel tank filler?

Exactly what Bob said, $68 from CT200hChat.com.
It's legal in CA to have whatever tint you want on the back windows, but illegal to have almost any kind of tint on your front windows. I usually drive with my front windows down anyways, so hopefully, no issues.

Dang, seriously? You'd think after VW started the whip antenna and those failing so quickly/easily, manufacturers would either design a more durable whip antenna or just do away with it all together. If they need a new antenna after a couple of months of driving, the shark fin it is!

Same Question as Steve - what is the red sticker on your fuel filler cap?

Got mine from here and they matched the color perfectly. Delivery was excellent and the installation, following their instructions, was simple: http://visualgarage.com/
So black on any color looks like an after-thought whereas a matched color looks OEM.
