BeatSonic Sharkfin Antenna Install
Hey everyone,
Way back when the CT first came out, I decided to go with one of the only sharkfins available for the CT200h, which was by Visual Garage.
However, I didn't really like the shape of the sharkfin antenna by VG, it looked more like a bubbly dolphin tail or something.
BeatSonic USA has been making sharkfin antennas for the Prius and other vehicles. I got a chance to test fit a sharkfin on my CT and it looks and works GREAT!
This is a good option for those of you who were complaining earlier about how the VG sharkfin didn't look aggressive enough or didn't look enough like a sharkfin antenna.
One of the awesome and most helpful things BeatSonic provides with their sharkfins is a handy paper guide that allows you to line up the sharkfin without having to tape it down blindly or eyeball it. Made it MUCH easier to install the second time around!
The color I chose was Toyota's standard Black. I chose a contrasting color because the black looks good against the white and I like how it ties in the black tinted windows, the black accents at the base of the sideview mirrors, and the wheels. It just brings everything together.
BTW, AM/FM reception is unaffected for me, if not clearer.
Special thanks to BeatSonic! Please hit them up if you want to get one of your own for your CT! They are in the process, if I'm not mistaken, of providing more colors that will match the CT's paint colors.
