Updated my CT200h headlights from halogen to modern 6000k HID

Thanks! Still have to paint the walls and some some shelving but it's a nice man-cave for sure as we have poker nights there quite often with the boys.
The 6000k is perfect, all of my cars run 6k and it's not really as blue as the picture shows. 4300k is way too yellowish IMO. Look at Audi and Mercedes, it's about the same hue.

I officially hate you for your frickin awesome garage. I think I would put up a big screen across from your couch...oh, and a mini-fridge or a kegerator. I would probably live in there.
I only think 4300 looks 'yellowish' if they are next to blue lights... If they are compared to halogen, there isn't any yellow. PLUS, Lexus (IMO) has the best OEM HID lights out there and they are 4300K stock.
At least you didn't use 8000k or 10000k ! uke:

Actually on my old 99 GS400, the OEM lights were spectacular and very blue. On my 08 IS-F, the projectors suck and I think Lexus must have changed things. The best projectors with the cleanest cut-off is easily the Honda s2000 projectors. They are regarded as the BEST in the market and many people use those projectors when doing retrofits. The CT is pretty good once you do the HID upgrade. We get a very clean cut-off the the output is on par with the s2000 in every way. My wife loves it and that's all that matters.

... So.. You're collecting S2000s for headlamps? Hah
Nice garage- wish mine was that big.. So cal homes have garage that barely fit 3 cars and I have to fold the mirrors when I'm carrying stuff around...

The ballast are the new SLIM versions so I had each one tucked away under each headlight with a small bracket. Works great and won't move around.
Many months later lights work perfectly like OEM.
