^install was fairly simple.
The procedure in the manual tells you to remove some things that aren't necessary (which eats up a ton of time) I learned that the hard way and followed the manual procedure
The wipers / cowl / plastic above the front shocks does not need to be removed. You can reach in there with a 14mm wrench.
The rear plastic under trays do not need to be removed as well. And the rear lower A-arm plastic covers probably could have stayed on as well (they don't seem to interfere with spring removal)
Other than that it was a straight forward spring swap.
Spring compressor is deff needed to re-install the front tanabe lowering springs. Some springs can be compressed enough by hand to get the top hat on, these weren't even close. Not sure on other makes of springs.

how are you getting 48mpg? what's the trikck
i have 170miles on mine and i'm barely getting 32mpg with very conservative driving it's bugging the crap out of me
the little screen on the dash that you control with the "DISP" button on the steering wheel says 28.7mpg in one spot and 32.3mpg at another spot
how are you calculating it?
