So... I ordered a dark tinted set from the Weathertech eBay store for the 100 plus shipping. I recieved the long very thin box this morning. Before I say more you should know ive packed and shipped over 1000 items and recieved about the same from other companies.
I open the box and immediately notice 0 packing materials. I see all my reciepts and paperwork as well as the weathertech flyer. The items were packaged as front and rear sets in a plastic sleeve style bag. The bags were not sealed and ends left open. Might I add there is no material protecting the inner bagged pairs from rubbing and banging against each other during the shipping process.
After pulling them out I immediately noticed scratches and marks all over them. I'm going to make a long story shorter and say I've already sent them back. Very poor packing quality from a huge company. I won't risk trying to order them again because of this. I've had the jdm oem ones on Hondas and Lexus so I now know why they are 400.00 and the oems are always packed for perfection.

I think that for $100 these are expensive considering the BOM, come on, they are plastic, and $400 is just crazy pricing. But any specialty item will always get an audience. Yeah, being a audiophile, I'm stupid enought to pay $600 for home speaker cables.

Double sided tape makes me cringe. Weathertech used to make them both ways been down that road. You best make sure the car is super clean (alcohol) never get high pressure washed or washer anywhere near them. High heat also plays with the glue.
Mine came packaged in a huge box inside the box were cardboard sleeves that held each piece in plastic bags fairly tightly. Mine came through perfect and I'm not overly worried unless you never wash your car they all get hair scratches.
Winter time the cold ice and snow will scratch them too. Like anything including your paint.
I'm really happy with mine ....
