Default Realistic Asking Price?

Hello all - I have decided to list my CT for sale but also struggling to determine a realistic asking price. My dealer (Toronto, ON) has given a guideline of 27.5k - 29k in my area with 23,000km (14,375 miles) - it is a black on black 2012 BASE. No NAV, no sunroof etc.

I know these types of threads tend to spark some debate, but that's my goal! What would some of you think that a realistic asking price would be and why?? I know the answers will likely vary greatly north and south of the border, but all opinions will help!

Just curious, why are you getting rid of it so early? I'm sure that you know how to use KBB.com, so I won't quote from there. Just from my experience, I paid $26600 for a CPO 2011 Premium with 24500 miles just about 2 weeks ago. I have no idea how prices compare in Canada though.

Just bored with it to be quite honest. My previous car was a lightly modded / tuned 2008 Mitsu Evo - sold her and bought the CT due to the gas mileage (Evo was a PIG!!)... Now I can't take how little power it has in comparison... I guess I'm just lead footed. Long story short my wife wants an SUV as a family car / delivery vehicle for her business, so I have decided to take her current car as a DD (2007 Acura CSX) and sell / trade the CT to put us into something fun for the summer months.

meh - I'll end up with 2 older cars but I'll be much much happier.

I don't really know what they are actually selling for - but up here I can find most asking for $30k+ for the touring package (sunroof and 17" wheels, no NAV).

Compared to what others are ASKING, I figure 27-28K would be pretty reasonable.

That's about right, funny, I was just looking at the pricing on these today. And anything outside the base model is 31-32k with <15k km's. All other's are 26-29k with <30k km's and all the years.

all depends on how keen you are to sell and how keen the other party is to buy.

Dang, ya you did! You only paid about $1400 more than me for a newer car with less miles and more options. Congratulations!

Quite true I suspect that it may be even wiser for me to trade-in for tax savings.
