Out of gas
So I ran my CT out of gas. I called my Lexus dealer who is less than 10 miles away. It was raining and rush hour traffic. Instead of sending the local dealer road side assistance, they sent AAA who where 30 miles away in a different town.
The car was completely locked up, you couldn't push it. I almost got hit several times. I called the dealer again and told them I was stuck in a dangerous situation. They sounded bored when they told me to call the local police. A fire fighter in a SUV finally pulled up behind me for safety. AAA took over an hour and a half to get there. For the last 20 minutes they said they were in a Wendy's parking lot I could actually see from where I was. It didn't want to start at first and all sorts of warning lights were on, but it finally started.
I have never been treated so bad in my life. My Mercredes was 12 years old and had electrical problems and I never had an issue like this. Right at the end I thought I was going to loose my bladder I sat there so long, my phone battery was down to four percent, and the worst thing is the Mercedes dealer and the Lexus dealer are the same company, sitting right by each other, owned by the same people.

Does that Lexus dealership have its own road side assistance service? Otherwise it could possibly be some kind of liability issue..

I could say something about paying closer attention to your fuel gauge, but I won't. :-)

Here's my guess.
No, I think the OP is upset that the Lexus dealer didn't hop to it and rescue him from the situation he got himself into. Additionally, he may be trying to tell us that his fuel gauge/low fuel light is broken. Just a guess.

How exactly do you let yourself run out of gas on a car that gets 500+ miles to a tank? Frankly, unless this was the result of some random, unknown leak from your fuel tank, I don't blame the dealer for not caring all that much about your predicament...I recall reading explicit warnings somewhere in the manual that with a hybrid, you should be extra careful to not let the gas tank run to empty.
It's like not brushing for a few years and then blaming your dentist for the cavities!

I dont know how you run it empty when you can go well over 50 miles when the car says it is empty with 0 miles to go.

Also, most, if not all dealers, have gas pumps on site for their new cars and rental fleet.

Got my first CT recently and ran it to empty on the gas guage today to see what kind of reserves it has. (I felt like Kramer!)
I was pretty surprised to see that there was still 10 litres (approx3 gallons) in the tank. 45 litre capacity, and I filled it up with 35 litres from empty. That`s a big reserve! But good to know...
