I used to hypermile it when I first got it but I took way too long on deliveries. I would coast as much as possible and run the electric motor for as long as possible. Sometimes I would be driving half the speed limit just to avoid the engine starting. The best average per tank I ever got was 72 mpg!

Now I average about 50 mpg or less. My modifications have made it not as efficient plus the larger circumference of the wheels messes up the calculation.

All things considered you likely still have double the mileage of others
