Potholes
So, I live in sunny NJ and was looking to get "bigger" tires for the my CT. I hit a pothole today and swear it knocked a filling out.
Any suggestions? After searching around all I could find is guys lowering and putting on low profile tires, I'm looking for the opposite.
Thanks

Are you going to change your wheels as well? People go low profile since they are up sizing the wheels and therefore need lower profile tires to match OEM wheel diameter. Since you want to go opposite, are you looking to commit to 16 inch wheels or below? If so, simply post to a Prius forum and offer to trade. I bet you will get TONS of offers.
IF not, the best thing you can do is go to 225/45/17 size tires. At the very least, you'll match your true speedometer reading (more on this later) while still getting a "little bit more meat" in the tires, both width and height.
