Will the 2014 spindle grill fit the 2014 non fsport bumper?
it seems as if the spindle grill might fit on a non f sport bumper on the 2014+ models
the bumpers look the same. And some places have same part number for the bumper.
It seems as if the only difference is the spindle grill, (top and bottom grill) and the fog light garnish.
can anyone help out or confirm? my local dealer says you need the whole bumper swap but I just wanted a second opinion. thanks
what makes you say the grills don't fit? would it physically not fit?
when you order a bumper for 2014 and up models it comes bare without the middle part. It seems as if you can just take the middle plastic cap off along with the top and bottom grill and replace it with the F sport spindle grill all together?

actually i just removed my 2015 front bumper to fix my HID fog lights and it does appear you can snap the grill off. you may be able to snap on the grill for your non-fsport and replace it with the spindle.
It is possible to upgrade base 2014-15 non-sport to F-sport front grille. When Sewell was up, they had a kit that was about $1k for 2014-15 models.
Here's a link to the upper part of the grille. Seller doesn't have lower for some reason.
You have it wrong. Grill shouldn't be costing $1k. What you are talking about is the whole front end swap including bumper, grills, fog lights, brackets and etc for 2011-2013 models wanting to swap to 2014+ f sport front end conversion.

is that a non f sport front bumper with a f sport spindle grill swap? WOW where did you find this??
So it DOES seem like it is a possibility to swap just the grill.

You're talking about the kit for pre-2014 models which was about $2k ($1.4k with CL discount). The one I'm referring to is the one for 2014-5 non F-sport models as stated before. Wish I could find the exact website cache, but here is a cache of the upgrade offered to 2014 models (~$1.4k before CL discount). Scroll to "F-Sport Bumper Conversion", they even have a before/after picture. Of course the grille alone won't be 1k...which is why I linked to the ~$200 upper part. L2internetz

Right, I understand what you are saying BUT the conversion does not require you to change the bumpers if the dimensions are the same. Only the grills. If you wish to change the fog light housing and add LED fogs then that might be what is bringing the price up. It wasn't 2k for the conversion for the pre 2014 models anyhow. 2k was including paint I believe
I just brought up Sewell to reiterate that one can use their '14/15 bumper to swap grilles. Click cache link for clarification on pricing.
Threadcapped.
now that sewell is closed (link dead as well), we won't know what is exactly included or needed to do the conversion unless we do it ourselves. i don't see what else we would need to rack up the cost to 1000+.

Do you know what webpage cache is? I linked the Sewell google cached website on the post I made on 04-11-15 09:34 AM. This thread is lol.
