Default 2015 CT 200H F-Sport

Hi All,

Looking to buy my first Lexus next week! I'm currently looking at the 2015 ultra white ct200h f-sport. However, I have a quick question. The main thing I'd want on my CT is the f-sport LED headlamps/fog lamps.

I've been looking at inventory for the dealers around me, but all the models only come with the standard headlamp. If I buy an f-sport model, shouldn't they come with the led headlamps (the ones with two bulbs)? Or is that a separate option?

Thanks!

Mine came with halogen headlamps. They're they only thing I really don't like about the car. Not only does the yellow color of the lights look bad, the lights are horrible at night, when compared to HIDs. The subsequent need to alter the DRLs to accommodate the larger projectors for the halogens, creates an unlit center section of the DRLs that make it look like there's an LED out. I knew I didn't like the headlights when I bought the car, but decided to go with it anyway, thinking I could live with it (After all, it does seem a bit silly to worry about the looks of the headlights). I would make a different decision now, mostly because the halogens simply don't work very well. In the end, this will be the reason I will decide not to keep the car when the lease expires. BTW- my car also has lowering springs. I don't know how much they contribute, but I do like the handling of my car. It's no race car, but it definitely allows for some fun occasionally. You might consider looking for a car that has these springs.

I have a 2013 F-Sport. Non-halogen headlights were not an option, on ANY models. Easily fixed by a Morimoto HID kit for ~$200 though. But yeah, I understand your frustration.

not sure if it's still true, but when i bought my 2013, my socal dealer said they started to make LED headlight special order only. a lot of 2012 on the dealer lots still had LED headlight

not sure why they stopped doing that for 2013, probably too pricey

so your chance of finding one might not be too high, sorry.

LED headlights are a stand-alone option (not part of a package), and just like the radar cruise control, no dealer in the US orders cars with this option to add to their sales inventory (I was told this by my dealer, and a nationwide inventory search also showed no cars with either option). You have to ask them to order your car for you in their next sales order batch. It's a $1,500 option, more expensive than getting aftermarket LEDs (which may not be as good of quality, FYI), because on top of the LED lighting, you also get auto-leveling and headlamp washers.

My car has both options, if you would like any more info or pictures, let me know.

Same same. Bought mine anyways. Now looking to swap out the fog lamps with the Lexus LED fog lamps. Supposedly, it's plug and play and 2 screws. I'm hoping it's really this easy!

A handful of ppl have done the conversion to factory LED headlight. Most have done HID kits. I went with a retrofit. Best results with a proper retro. Click the link in my Sig.

Btw, if you go with just a HID kit, go Morimoto 3five. I only recommend them.
