Default What is this?

2014 CT F-Sport. New CT owner. Upon checking engine bay I came across this rubber tube sticking out without any thing connected to it. Is this normal, or what?

Have no idea what it is. Here's my 2013. Looks the same as yours.

I guess those hoses go to exhaust heat exchanger, and that's the coolant temperature sensor in the middle (which controls the exchanger). I don't know what that short tube is though.

I've got a 2014 F Sport as well and I also have the same tube sticking out.
