Just be aware that TGMO is much higher in Molybdenum than pretty much anything out there and is specifically beneficial to Lexus engines. I could go on, but do a search on BITOG or the LS forums for MUCH more information. I will not use anything but TGMO after numerous samples sent to Blackstone. When you buy it from your Toyota dealer in bulk, it's the same price or cheaper than Mobil 1, etc. I pay about 6 bucks a qt at my Toyota dealer in Canada (probably even cheaper in the US)

forgot to mention ... i'm neutral on the above uoa. ive always used nothing but oem oil, but now i'm open to the idea of going with mobil 1 as long as its on sale/cheaper ... or if i'm simply too lazy to buy from the dealer/order oem oil online

for those of you who do not know of/heart of bob is the oil guy .... enjoy:

Same here, I used to buy Toyota motor oil when they were cheaper. Since then, I've switched to Mobil or whatever is on sale. To me, doing your oil change on time is far more important than what you pour into the engine.

The Moly additive is down a lot from the Toyota 0w20 SM at 800 PPM vs the SN at 124.
Mobil is now using a 'tri-nuclear moly' version in it's oils.I guess that formula is just as good but I like more moly.
Mobil race oil still has 1600 PPM moly.

And TGMO is manufactured by Mobil1, but has Lexus/Toyota's required additive package which is significantly different in formulation, than off the shelf Mobil 1..... especially, moly.
