Default Audio Sources - What Do You Use?

i use Spotify on my Android phone over AUX in my current vehicle. better SQ than Bluetooth but it's annoying to plug in 2 cords and not great for battery life.

question for those of you with iDevices, are you able to control Spotify, Pandora, etc through the steering wheel / head unit with your device connected thru USB, or is it only in regular iPod mode?

On my 2013 (non-nav), I use Spotify via USB w/ iP6+. Only problem is that the steering wheel controls can't change the song, which is weird since I am able to change songs if I'm connected via BT. But I prefer USB because the sound is better.

Listen to AM for Sports Talk radio and some FM for music. When using devices, it's mostly through Bluetooth with an ocassional use of the AUX for devices that haven't been paired yet.

I've used a couple of different iPhones via the USB connector, and I can change songs, etc. through the controls on the steering wheel. I don't love the voice controls (eg. "Play artist Jimmy Buffett"), so I tend to use Siri, or I browse manually. I wish we had CarPlay or Android Auto, that would be sweet.
