I don't know if it will damage the engine, but I would expect your fuel economy will suffer. According to the owner's manual, the engine was designed for 0w-20 for all climates. I'd also be concerned with excessive engine wear at cold start up. If this is a Lexus dealer telling your this, I'd ask to see the documentation from Lexus corporate regarding this supposed change in standards.

That container is the proper Toyota oil ... most here on the forum are from the USA ... Toyota's container is different in the USA. In the USA only 0-20 is approved for extended oil changes.
You must not have the owners manual that came with the car in Jordan? It should be easy to find or download one? The manual will give you any other possible oils.

0W-20 is the correct oil. You can also use 5W-20. You have the correct oil with the picture of the Toyota oil SN 0W-20.
The 10W-40 oil is way too thick. Good job on changing the oil back to 0W-20.

I change the oil and oil filter on my 2011 CT every 5,000 miles and I use Eneos Sustina 0W-20 oil and a Toyota OEM filter part number 04152-YZZA6.
