Anyone know what this electrical connector is for?
Hi, I purchased a used 2012 CT200h premium with f-sport and navi package a few weeks ago. I noticed that there is a electrical connector not plug-in to anything in the upper left corner of the engine. I looked around the area near that connector but there isn't anything there to plug in back in. My car runs fine except the AC does get cold enough. I googled pictures of ct200h engine and all of them showing that connector is connected to another connector. Anyone know what this connector is for? Is it possible to have something to do with my AC not get cold enough?

Here's my 2013:
I found this parts diagram of the under hood wiring: http://www.lexussouthatlantaparts.co...category=21749. Maybe that will help you identify the missing connection (if it is actually missing on your car).
I really need to clean my engine compartment!!!

Does anyone has the repair/workshop manual?

Sorry for the old thread bump but that connection is for the windshield (wiper) de-icer. If your windshield was replaced and doesn't have that feature, there's no wire from the windshield to connect.

Mine was connected before I replaced my windshield with one that doesn't have the de-icer feature. Now it is disconnected, so I can confirm this.
