Is it possible to just replace the housing for just one of the headlamp bulbs (h11 711) without having to replace the entire unit.

Bought a new bulb (h11 711) which melted its compartment alone.

please help because buying an entire assembly for the headlamp unit is costly

I think you have to buy the whole assembly, it is one piece. Look at these used ones on eBay (in the US) Maybe UK eBay has some for sale. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...light&_sacat=0

 

You would have to buy the whole headlight. Might be a good time for a retrofit or led conversion.
