Alignment guru's... need advice!
Hey guys,
I got a '14 CT200h fsport and just recently hit 50k miles. I went to a local shop near my place and they advised to get an alignment done due to the wear on my tires (bought new in May, had it aligned at that time too at a different location).
They said that there is little room to adjust the camber up front, so had to purchase some camber bolts (is this true?)
Once the alignment was done, the rear right camber was in the red... and when I asked, they said that was the best they could do, and that it really won't make much difference. Below is a print out of before and after alignment specs.
Question is, does it really not make any difference that it's in the red? Or should I be a bish and demand to have it redone so that it is in the green? Sorry if it's a dumb question...
Thanks!!
Brendon

Brendan, while over seas.... you probably weren't aware of my days doing alignments =)
anyhoo.... front camber is just like on your 06 wrx... camber bolts. afaik.... oem bolts dont offer much adjustability/if they are even adjustable at all... so you gotta buy aftermarket if you want to adjust beyond oem camber specs
rears, unlike your wrx do not use camber bolts. they use upper camber arms. megan makes said arms.

a google search will reveal that, those arms fit 2011+ scion tc... makes me wonder if other tc parts can fit our cars
call/text /fb me.... i can help you adj camber..... AFTER you get rear camber arms of course

I get an alignment each time I buy new tires on my 2014 F Sport. Last time I did that, the steering wheel was not adjusted. Turns out I had a camber alignment issue up front, which can't be aligned unless you buy a set of caster/camber bolts (this is the one adjustment most cars can't do unless they come with that ability as a high-performance vehicle). My mechanic had to adjust wheels differently to get the steering wheel straight, but supposedly I'm misaligned the other way or something.
I have to go back for more info later, but otherwise it's true. Camber misalignment can't be fixed without the part that allows the adjustability.
