Hello, friend ... I have been detailing cars ( for myself, family and a few friends ) for many, many years ... truly good scratch repair has always been kind of elusive, secret information seems like ...... Then I found this guy on YouTube. He teaches his unique method that I have never seen anywhere else ..... it sounds like you are willing to try the repair yourself, so I thought I would send this video to you ....... see what you think : ) best of luck to you ... let us know how it goes -- --

When I purchased my car, I bought the touch up paint from the dealership. The touch up paint is not that great and is noticeable, in some cases worse. I just do it to prevent rusting.

Your car has a paint code ... maybe located on a sticker in the glove box? Someone here will know where to find it for your year and model .... so once you have the paint code you can go to an automotive paint supplier who can mix up an aerosol paint can for you of your correct color. I have done this before .... it is not expensive ... just try to find a shop such as this ... or as suggested above, just go to the dealer and you can get a small amount of touch-up paint .... that video gives good information on the subject and will show you a good plan with which to solve this problem ..... it all begins with finding the correct paint code and as I say, that information is located on a sticker someplace on your car ...
