Hi guys,

So far 2 heat shields has fallen off underneath my car.
now I am thinking of putting them back on by using bigger washers.

Does anyone know the nut size? I have not taken the nuts off yet because I dont have a ramp at home and the car is too low. I will rent a diy bridge in the neighbourhood to do this job,but I would like to install the shields with new nuts.

I live in Amsterdam and the westher is cold right now, so I am not too much concerned. But when the weather gets really hot I am afraid the heat from the cat/exhaust will harm the hybrid battery in some way?

I doubt it would make a difference. But you never know.
