You mean the side mirrors? There's a video on youtube by ckwraps which shows how to do Lexus mirrors. you have to do them in 2 pieces (as with most mirrors)
takes patience, very fine cutting skills with a razor (a real razor not just a blade) you need something very fine and very sharp. like this one about 45 min each side.
you'll also need a heat gun, and knifeless tape. watch the video and you'll see.

Mine has some sort of sound as well, I think it's just how it is. The manual states do not keep it in lock-to-lock, as it will damage the car, or something to that effect. I thought it was a weird factory warning.

i just have to remove the trim and insulate it. on my to do list

I removed the CF wrap from my door pillars and installed gloss black. I'm very happy with the result. This is the same Vivid Gloss Black as I mentioned earlier I did the mirrors in. This stuff is worth every penny. I've been lazy and haven't used my nice cameras to take pics inside the dark garage. But here's some iphone pics. you get the idea. It now has that premium look premium Lexuses get with the gloss pillars. It looks real premium. I made sure to heat the corners really good so they wrap around and "suck in" so they're locked in. This stuff isn't going anywhere. The camera added 20 lbs to me in the reflection... lol
I highly recommend this as a cheap and easy and fun upgrade to do. Took me about 30 minutes per side. The trim below the pillars are not as glossy cause I used 3M wrap for those... one day I'll rewrap it with the good Vivid stuff but for now the door trim is satisfactory.
The key to sticking is good prep. Alcohol wipe everything 3x. in every crevice.

I have this sound too when I have my wheel all the way. Is this normal then?

Finally got a chance to take a couple photos using my iphone.
40mpg and 20mpg. lol
Gloss black trim and mirrors and pillars. The triangles are coming next... i have a feeling it won't come out right and may end up painting those.

Thanks! Yeah it's just cost really. My IS has nice painted moldings and triangles. But my IS doesn't have painted mirror inners.. only the GS does. At some point i'll complete my gloss project by painting my mirror inners too. I can't stand the flat black bare plastic. cheap! A caution to anyone removing the triangles...careful. They're a bit tricky. They are held on by a strip of tape on the inside and one clip. You basically pry it off.. but go slow. The triangle hooks into the door then clips in. So don't just go ripping it out. I broke the bracket that holds the clip on one side due to the brittle plastic.. but used 3M double sided tape to secure it. it's solid.
don't try wrapping them while on the car. it won't happen. (at least not a quality job)

Had some extra wrap laying around. decided why not play with it and see what i can do. instead of throwing it away
what do you guys think? I always felt the front headlights were too tall/goofy looking. this helps make them look a bit "meaner" and leaner.
i dunno though.
i tried with silver CF wrap at first. didn't look good. redid it in black CF.
I can always peel it off if i get sick of it. ive been using it a couple days now. i'm digging it so far

Yup those are the kind of mods i like. so subtle that you have to look for it. if it's immediately apparent i think youve gone too far!
Looking at them at night they almost seem stock. kinda cool when the light hits it. I may look for little lexus emblem stickers I can put on them. like subtle gray or black ones. tiny ones

Updated photos. Rear wiper delete using Mazda 3 rear wiper delete kit (It was only 10 bucks) i wish i had gotten the one for the Prius though which is a bit larger and correctly sized. Water tested and no leaks. But it's barely barely big enough. Like by a hair. The seal barely covers the hole. If anyone does this get the correct 1 3/8" cap/cover kit. you can also use generic plastic caps and silicone around it too. The size is 1 3/8". You can get them at home depot or on ebay. they're plastic caps. I did this method before on my Prius.
