Rattle
Temperature was below 50 the last couple days, and my car suddenly started a horrible rattle. Thought it was in the trunk and removed everything back there. Still heard the rattle coming from behind me. Opened and closed the sunroof, and that seemed to reduce it quite a bit. It was warmer this afternoon, and it's not rattling at all. It never did this in cold weather before. Should I be doing any maintenance to the sunroof, like greasing tracks?

keep it clean and greased is a good practice for any car. maybe once a year. not a bad idea. white lithium grease works well. find at auto parts store. comes in a can. don't put too much.
that wouldn't cause a rattle though, just a squeak if anything.
your rattle is probably something else.

I occasionally have raised the back to vent out some heat, but I've never opened it. Rarely even push the shade back.
