You can shift into it at anytime, while accelerating or braking. It's all electronic controlled anyways, so there's 0 chance of damaging anything unlike traditional cars.

Correct it's all electronic ... the "normal" "power" ... it's just changing the way the pedal responds to your foot .... nothing with the engine. In the Prius putting into eco changes the ACC and Heat operation ..... it does not seem to work the same way in the CT.

Just remember -- "B" is not getting you more. Coasting charges and initial braking ... to extent "glide" on the highway you want to be on the gas a tiny bit to keep the regeneration off

Does rain affect MPG? I have noticed when it rains I have to give the engine a little more gas to get up to speed. Is this normal? I’m going to assume it is.
