LEXUS is boring!!
I bought a CPO 2013 CT200 F sport 3 years back and i think LEXUS as a brand does not provide any drama at least the model i have, this is why i think LEXUS is boring.
It's been 3 years and the car starts every time i hit the remote starter Freezing cold or not, even if it's sitting for weeks - That's boring
All i did is change Full Synth oil every 7 k Miles and no repairs - That's boring
The car is now 6 years old but the only msg i saw so far is service needed every 5k miles, no other lights - That's Boring
Dealership keeps sending me emails on specials and i do not know any lexus service rep on first hand basis - That's boring
I have not seen the engine bay since i changed the low beams to LED - That's boring
I have not had to visit any dealerships while on vacation out of state - That's boring
No electrical gremlins - That's boring
I think i like Boring and this car wasn't even brand new when i purchased it........i liked it so much that i went ahead and bought a GX470 last year with 100k+ miles and that's so far been very boring too....(Changed the radiator as everyone suggested + oil changes)

How many miles are on the CT? I think once you hit the high mileage mark and blow the head gasket you will start finding some excitement with Lexus. For your sake, I hope that happens soon to spice things up

May you live in interesting times.
This chinese curse does not apply to Lexus.
Because of his Japanese origin.
And that is why I choose to be bored as can be.
@Raidin : your obvious abuse of Courier CT is like folding space and time to me
(looks like that I am not going to see meLex malfunction in my life)

After I got my RCF, I rarely drove my MB SLK55 AMG HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE anymore. The SLK55 AMG just parked next to my RCF for like three years with the occasional engine starts and driving around just enough to get everything up to operating temperatures. The tires dry rotted out even though they were like three years old with only some 8K miles. I had to replace them. The SLK55 AMG NEVER gave me any issues the ten years I owned it. Just the routine maintenance stuff. The SLK55 AMG has a NA 5.5 liter V8 AND non-air shocks PLUS old techs from prior MB GEN (no bluetooth!!!) which made it a lot more reliable vs other MB's.
I trade it in for a nice MB GLA250 4Matic for teenage son BEFORE any major issues surface. And I did not think that powerful V8 in the AMG will be all that safe for a teenager. Plus the fact that it's a convertible.
No regrets. The RCF is a lot of fun!!!!

I like Lexus a lot, I drove my X5 for a week and now it has SES light, it's always something every few months with the BMW.
