CT200h owners: what is your current tank average readout? (as well as last completed)
#16
It looks like I posted the image I took right after the fill up at the gas station, before it reseted. I reset the trip mileage every fill up, so the 457.2 miles was how far that tank lasted. The Current is accurate reading of those miles. So yes, due to the gas gauge, that can look misleading. But like I said, calculation at pump was 50.38. It looks like my fuelly.com had some 51+. I've had the car for half year now. The second image was 59 mpg after 29 miles, which is a fair enough distance to judge. At 29 miles it's pretty hard to keep it that high.

That particular MPG reading resets after you open the gas lid (when you put gas) and when you drive away, it's at its highest. That # means more the more you drive. It means the most when your tank is close to empty. That's like right after a dental cleaning you proclaim your teeth are cleaner than everyone elses. Wait 6 months. =) lol.
I don't doubt you get good mileage, but the way you are showing it in your post is misleading. You just filled your tank and drove a little and are showing a high MPG #. That # climbs to 99.9 mpg right after you fill your tank and you can easily drive around the block and get 50-60+ mpg to "show"
It's better to post or describe your tank reading after driving at least 1/4 tank. It's best close to empty. (if you use that particular readout)
My current readout after 3/4 tank down is 37.7mpg. not so great this time around for me.

^that's a lot better =) doesn't have to be E, but at least some way down. E is best though. If we are using this method of measure.
Took the 200t out today and got 16 mpg on my morning commute =( and gas is $4.27 a gallon..
