I just bought a 2012 without navigation and the door for the storage box where the nav would be has a sticky latch release, so the door stays open. Does anyone have a how-to on taking it apart? I tried velcro where it contacts as a quick fix but the sun melts the glue/tape.

same year, and same problem. but its intermittent... i'm going to try a little alcohol in the latch to see if it breaks down any gunk that may be making it stick
