Installed custom cellphone holder
So I found a cellphone holder that was originally $80, but was on clearance for $19. The design sucked b/c it was too tall, but the materials it was made from were of such good quality that it could pass for OEM if installed correctly.
I took it apart, drilled a small hole in the dash, and installed the holder into the part where the mouse usually sits. It was a tight fit, and I also used super glue for the extra hold. I'm completely satisfied with how it turned out...my phone is perfectly accessible and the holder is completely secure...no shakes or rattles. Now I can easily use my music, blue tooth, Google maps, etc... I usually buy massive phones so this design works for me.
I only use the steering wheel to control the volume/radio, so the phone only gets in the way of the **** for sport mode. The good thing is, I never use sport mode so it doesn't make a difference to me :P.
As a precaution, I also bought 3 more holders just in case I need to replace this one. If I ever need to sell the car, the mat that normally goes in this spot can easily cover the hole.
Cheers :P.

In store, it was $19. Definitely a great purchase.
