Priuses would be fine =) Yeah i'm in an 18 corolla now... it feels really hard and plasticky inside. everything has the texture of a football, except harder. everything you see and touch is hard textured plastic. and i really miss keyless entry/start. i'll update when i get the car back

Still at the body shop...got my car back last week but a few things needed fixing so it's back and staying a bit longer. the few days I had my CT back--wow. very nice experience. you don't appreciate what you had until it's been gone and you drive it again. it drives so silky smooth. everything firm. brakes firm. steering silky. big difference than a new corolla, new camry. also so quiet.
I'm in a smelly nissan rogue now. all these lower level nissans, toyotas, hyundais, etc., what pieces of garbage. doesn't matter how new they are. i'll only and always buy lexus, bmw, mercedes, audi etc. everything, every surface, build quality, the way the doors shut, switches feel, everything is just a touch above these entry level branded turds. you really do get what you pay for when you compare premium brands next to their lower-tier counterparts!

Yes indeed.
A couple of months ago I flew into a major city for work at the last minute and my office went ahead and reserved a "standard sized car" for me which was ok by me. So at the airport (very late around midnight) after I landed there were two Nissan Rogues and a few Hyundai Elantra hatchbacks. So I picked the Nissan Rogue bc I know the Hyundai Elantra hatchbacks will definitely NOT work for me since I had it before. Needless to say, the Nissan Rogue (while a good SUV), was nowhere near what I was expecting.
Incidentally, at work some of my co-workers had always wondered why I spent the extra bucks to get the RX450h while a "similar looking Nissan Rogue will do just fine"? Now having experienced a 2019 Nissan Rogue with only a couple of thousand miles on the odometer as a rental ....... I only have the following to say: "Experience the drive/ride and you will see, feel, and HEAR the difference!!!". It's literally NIGHT AND DAY difference!!!
Also I have driven my relative's a couple years old Infinity QX60 SUV (cousins to the Nissan Pathfinder). It's close to the Lexus caliber, but not there yet

I'm aware of the hierarchy. Don't ever drive a new BMW 5 or 7 which will make all Lexuses feel like poo.
How hard you want to roll depends on how much you want to spend. Everything is relative.

Way back in school my friend had a Nissan Sentra which at the time was only a few years old (like the one pictured below). We all thought that thing was the SMOOTHEST thing running bc our point of reference was to a VW bug with an air cooled engine. LOL.
Until later we ALL discovered that there are a lot of other cars WAY MORE SMOOTHER!!

I am just going to put it out there, but the CT is a cheap car that feels just as cheap as the Camry. In fact, I’d say that the road noise is about the same in the two, though the materials are better in a CT.
Don’t ever drive an LS, you will be crushed when you get back in the CT, which just feels like a fancy Prius to me.

Nah, These Euro cars while very nice, are not the ones to keep.
The Euro cars are like the girlfriends one would take on a prom date or homecoming dance, and etc. Enjoy while hot and spicy. And VERY high maintenance and demanding. Just thinking about this will give you a headache 😞😞☹️.. Something I would rent on a business trip paid by the company dollars type of fun vehicles.
The Lexus cars are more like the girlfriend to take home to meet the parents. More of a long term relationship. Keeper in other words. Will be around during the golden years and beyond.

Car is back and done. Everything in the picture you can see that is white was painted, with the exception of the front fender.
both doors, quarter panel, hatch lid and hatch trim and bumper. I had them redo the paint all over and redo the quarter panel seam sealer right where the tire sits. was super sloppy the first time as someone used their fingers to put it on (or so it seemed) so I told them to match the OEM finish on the passenger side. Then I had to machine polish out some defects myself, mostly on the bumper and on the rear spoiler where they got over spray. Too much trouble to ask them to fix it cause they may fix one problem and create two new ones... sometimes you have to do things yourself. Overall though I'm satisfied now. Also a new F sport badge and new rear Lexus emblem too.

If anyone in SoCal needs a 2014-2017 (facelift) rear bumper cover in Ultra White, PM me. I have an extra bumper left over. The one i am selling is OEM/original and has a small crease in it and two tiny marks on the back. Paint is otherwise excellent, no broken tabs.
the insurance replaced the bumper cover so the old one is in good condition and ready to mount. the crease and two tiny marks i mentioned are purely cosmetic. the crease is less than two inches and is seen by a faint line
