Default I miss my CT200h...

It's in the shop for body repairs after someone hit me. I hope it gets back together like new again. Something tells me some bozo is going to mess something up, break a clip, not reinstall something perfectly etc. I have two amps in the cargo area w/ sort of complicated wiring. Hope they put everything back how i had it. Maybe i'm overthinking...

I have a rental Camry... honestly i hate it. it's a big oaf that feels like a fischer price toy compared to my budget lexus. the vibration at stop lights, the jerky transmission, the relatively poor fuel mileage. The lack of keyless entry, you have to put your key in the ignition like it's 1963, what year are we in again?

don't take your CT200h for granted.

I know how it feels man. Sucks not having your car. I haven’t been in an accident with my CT. When I had my ES 330, I had 4 accidents with that car (none were my fault). It sucked not having my car for weeks and sometimes months. It’s just not the same when driving a cheap rental car.

Yeah and my insurance only covers $30 a day and apparently thats the industry standard.. you can't get jack for $30 a day. so today i may have to get downgraded to something smaller so i dont pay out of pocket. the camry i have ended up being like $35 a day even with discounts.

the next step down is something absurdly embarrassing. like a clown car. i think they were trying to give me a ford eco sport last time lol.

i'd rather have a corolla

You can just get it fixed up by the insurance company (or private party), sell it, and buy another CT that's never been in an accident.

The new UX hybrid is the spiritual successor to the lost and lamented CT200h.

CT Base price in 2017 of $31,250 adjusted for inflation is $32,000... UXh is $34,150 (so +6%)
HP is up from 134 to 181 (I know, it is all about the torque), MPG is down from 43/40/42 to 41/38/39 (so -7%)
6" longer, 3" wider, 2.5" taller, 4 cubic feet more pass. volume (+5%), 3 cubic feet more cargo vol. (+20%)
P215/45-17 become P225/50-18's, FWD becomes eAWD (rear wheels now provide regeneration)
Turning Circle remains 34.2', fuel tank size was 11.9 but now 10.6 so theoretical range of 601 becomes 413...
Lexus Enform Safety Connect went from 12 month trial to 120 months (2019's) 36 months (2020's) and includes Service Connect
All the Toyota/Lexus Safety System features, Lane Keep, Pre-Collision, Auto Braking, Dynamic Cruise and Auto High Beams

Yeah I'd consider a UX F Sport if my car was totaled. but i don't think it will happen. In the end, the UX would be twice the price for the same gas mileage. If my car was totaled, I thought about it, I'd probably get another CT F Sport (15 and up)
