Don't worry about it. A dipstick is hardly a calibrated instrument. I accidentally dumped an entire 5 qt jug one oil change (instead of 4.4 qt) and went well over the top dot. No harm done.

I recently noticed this on mine too, dealer overfilled it. From the bottom dot to top dot is a quart of measurement. This car holds 4 quarts. So if it's slightly above the top dot, it should be fine. You'll need to be way over the dot to have the risk of frothing. Mine's about an inch over; more than I'd like, but sounds like it's fine from what I gathered.

If 4.4 qt is the ideal amount, and the 5 qt you put in was half an inch over, that means it probably only takes less than half a quart to go from middle of the mark to full. Mine's probably almost a quart over, I think that's still fine. There was no frothing on the dip stick the few time I've checked it.
