Default I hit a curb :(

Hey, everyone, it has been a while since I've posted here, I hope you are all well. About a week ago I wasn't paying enough attention making a left turn onto a street and hit a curb hard on my right front end. Right away I noticed that my steering wheel was crooked and out of alignment. I did some minor cosmetic damage to my wheel and I've been quoted around $150 to fix it. The right lower corner of the front bumper also has cosmetic damage to it and has exposed a great deal of the black plastic underneath. For this, I've been quoted around $1100 due to the fact the whole bumper needs to be repainted for whatever reason. My bigger concern is that upon braking or coming to a stop I hear a creaking noise, It does not happen if I reverse and then apply the brakes only when driving forward. It also seems to be worst the steeper of the incline I am going down. The sound is very similar to this video:
I took the car in for an alignment which went well and fixed the crooked steering wheel. I took the mechanic for a drive to show him the noise and eventually he heard it. He was unable to find anything and didn't seem to think it was a big deal. I never in my life have heard this noise prior to hitting the curb and I know its not normal. It is obviously something suspension or wheel related but I guess I'm looking for some input on a couple of things.

- Do you feel the pricing estimates I've received for the wheel and front bumper is fair?
- Any clues as to what the noise could be?
- Has this happened to anyone else?

I know pictures would help in terms of the pricing on the bumper and wheel but dont have them at the moment I may post them on here if its absolutely necessary later on.

Thanks again everyone!

Okay, I felt the pricing was okay as well but I wanted to double-check. As for the sound I'm not sure my phone would pick it up but maybe I will try it out! Thanks!, appreciate the response.
