CTh 2011 Base model tach to f-sport tach
Good day! Has anyone ever DIY’d on upgrading from the 2011 base model tach (no red/blue switch) to an F-sport tach (with red/blue switch)?
Also, what’s the part number for the f-sport tach? 2011 model.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

First of all welcome to CL,
I think I'm not fully understanding your question. since there is no difference at my knowledge between a Normal tacho and a f sport one.
There is a setting to turn the light of inside of the tacho, would you mind checking if you have it enabled?
you can go to settings by pressing the "Disp" button on the steering wheel. hold it to enter and press it to go to the next section. to go back scroll down to back and press enter.

Hello! Thanks for the warm welcome.
I live in the Philippines, I'm not sure if the base model cth there in the US has the same gauge as the base model cth here.
The base model cth gauge here does not change to a tachometer when switched to sports mode, it retains the charge/eco/power tach. This is why I wanted to change my gauge to an F-sport type gauge to have the interchangeable tachometers.
Not sure if I explained it clearly. Please do ask more questions if my answer was not understandable

Okay, I think im seeing the sport tacho in there but it might not be activated, could you navigate to settings with the " Disp" button on the steering wheel, hold it to enter the settings and the choose tacho meter or something simulair make sure it says "Auto" and not "off"

This is why I wanted to DIY interchange the gauge, since the stock gauge on my CT looks boring af 😂
just not sure if buying a used gauge from ebay and manually replacing my old gauge will work.
