Default Best mid-price point coilovers?

So I'm in need of new struts and kind of just wanted to go to coilovers. With black Friday around the corner I'm hoping to grab a set at a great price. What do you guys have/reccomend?

At the moment I'm leaning towards the GodSpeeds. Current price is $630, if I can grab them for $500 on black that would be sweet!

Since they're responsible for holding your car up, I'd recommend none coilovers, particularly any off brand, small time coilover with a name like "godspeeds."

I've seen cars flip on their roofs before due to those teen coilovers. The welds sometimes pop, aren't consistent etc.

Always go big budget big billion dollar names when it comes to things that keep your car upright. You may want to look into the 11-16 Scion TC market, i think their suspensions should be identical so you may have more options w/ respect to big name brands (Eibach being one of them). But do some research.

if you're dead set on that budget .... just buy em and call it a day

if this were my car, I'd spring a few more dollars for a name brand thats been around:

I hear what you guys are saying, but I bought this car for $3500. I just cant justify spending 1k on coilovers.

OEM replacements are around $500, would you consider those bad based off the price?

One could also argue that the 1k BCs or teins aren't good either when you could use penske or some other premium brand.

I do appreciate the inputs and information. I didn't release the scion tc and Lexus ct could interchange. Now that I've done some research...you guys are going to kill me, but I'm going to buy the raceland coilovers. $379 dollars.

My friend actually had a set of them on an 2006 is350 (I sold the car to him). He had them for years with no problems AND raceland has a lifetime warranty on them.

For that price I'm going to give them a shot!

Just an FYI, the racelands do NOT fit. The are just a tad to small where it mounts to the A arm. I shall try another or just go OEM. Front passenger side gets worse by the day.

So I ended up with the godspeeds. I got a $200 Amazon gift card for xmas and a 20% discount off Amazon. I had some additional points saved up, so after everything was said and done I ended up paying $400 dollars for these.

The difference is unreal.... I've only been driving on them for about 5 days but it feels so much better and of course looks better lowered 😁 however I still have a rattle coming from the front which I thought was the oem suspension.

While I was installing the coilovers I noticed the driver side (what I assume is the axle) just pops out all ***** nilly. Passenger doesn't have the same thing so no problems over there.

Has anyone else experienced shaking at higher speeds from the driver side? If so what was the fix?

I'll post some pics of it lowered soon!

Does the axle pop out of the trans or the hub? Are either of the boots ripped/leaking?

If you can't tell that the axle is damaged, I'd swap two of the wheels and see if the issue remains or moves with the wheel.

Yes, the axel pops out on the driver side like its almost supposed to do it. Wasnt sure if that's correct or not.

Boots are not ripped nor leaking.

I will try swapping wheels.

I'm assuming it has something to do with the axel. I found a brand new one on Amazon for $115. You think that's the issue?
