New 2018 CT200h owner; dog guard recommendation
Hello everyone. I've just put a full deposit down on a metallic white 2018 CT200h premier. I'm headed out to collect the car next Wednesday. Certainly excited to have it, I've been eyeing a hybrid for years--initially I wanted to get an Ampera but the cars have gotten so far on now that I think parts and servicing is going to be a risk. A new Corolla would have cost about the same as the second-hand CT200h but in my opinion the CT is a much more beautiful car and even though I've read about the EGR issues, it's something I'm comfortable staying on top of, and the issues with the third generation power train are known, unlike the newest iteration where problems might start coming up down the line.
The main thing I need to get straight away is a good dog guard for the rear area. Our Dalmatian will be doing lots of riding with us and I'd like something sturdy and easy to fit and remove. Wondering if anyone here has recommendations for something good. I've found the Travall brand guard made specifically for the CT--anyone have any direct experience with it?
Thanks,

Honestly I just got a generic one size fits all from amazon and it fits perfectly. covers the back of the front seats and also the rear bench. used it on my 3IS and now my CT.
not a whole lot of customization needed for something like that. unless you really need to cover the sides. but the more custom fit, the more difficult it will be to set up.

Thanks for your reply, but I was meaning something more like this (the Travall guard), which would let her ride safely in the hatch area without a separate restraint. It seems a little expensive at 170€ but I'm probably just going to go ahead and get it since I can't find any other options, other than the generic ones which are usually a faff to fit.

Oh i see. yeah for that i can see you want it to be custom fit. I wouldn't want my dog to ride in the back there though cause technically that area is a crumple zone and will fold up in a crash. an unlikely event but still
