$12,800 for a 2011 with 37000 miles?Took a look at it today. Minor nicks and one small dent right next to the passenger side mirror. All truly minor. Inside is pristine. Great carfax, only two listed oil changes. No accidents. Two owners. Most servicing done at Lexus.
Honest and appreciated opinions, please?

I'm really trying not to go on impulse. I've read the advantages of model years 2014 and beyond. I'm wondering if I can negate EGR and head gasket issues by the recommendations on this informative forum.

Looks like a nice car. Low miles. That car will likely serve you for many years to come without you having to worry about any EGR issues. Though if you do go on Prius forums, the 2010 and 2011 seem to be the worst offenders in terms of burning oil. Some do, some don't. but even then you wouldn't face that til around 100-150k. The amount of risk you take is directly proportionate to the amount of money you spend. If this is a car you really want to own long term and can swing a 2014, i'd do it. The car was also made quieter for 2014 with something like 94 eneingeering enhancements, including additional spot welds and revised structure. So the 2014 is a better all around car
