Is it a good deal?

Its a good car for $10k i think.
I'm pretty new here too but I read the hybrid batteries are expected to last 12-15 years. Warrantied for 10 i belive (which would indicate to me should last much longer, but idk).
As for the mileage, no concern there imo. Spark plugs due at 120k.
It should last a long time...I see much older priuses on the road daily. And it is surprisingly comfortable does not feel like a small car when in the driver seat.
Doesn't help much but for reference i got a 2016 with 67k miles for $16k (normally $18k +). Again I think you get a good car for $10k but can't tell you what kind of deal that is.

Although 20k miles less for same price is attractive. I much prefer the CT over a Prius though, looks alone win that battle lol.
I looked at Camry Hybrid, Prius, and the CT. The CT was my preferred choice since the beginning but I too wanted my options open.
Lexus has always been my favorite in terms of overall vehicle designs (interior/exterior). And after working on cars growing up (for fun, want, need, and profession)...I appreciate the reliability I get out of Lexus (or Toyota).
In the end, you'll land a great car for $10k with either of your options.
Post the car you're looking at if you want...

Either car will last you well over 200k miles.
Maintenance is very low on both cars.
Read the thread above in the sticky section about EGR valve, that will be your only maintenance concern along with oil and air filters....based on my research.

I've owned both cars.
3rd Gen Prius more practical, larger, a bit easier to drive in that there's more visibility due to larger greenhouse (glass) and more room to move around inside. More comfortable ride due to the wheel/tire setup, and considerably better fuel mileage.
CT200h looks better, has a better more refined interior. Nicer to live with. But also a tad small. you feel like you're driving a college kids car sometimes. Ok if you're actually a college kid. Also CT sits lower and rides harder and has low profile tires. So you need to be a bit more careful how you drive whereas with a Prius, you can 4X4 over everything without a care in the world. In that sense, the Prius is refreshing to drive. However it's a Prius and you'll get lots of attention due to it, though not as bad as say 5-10 years ago. You'll get attacked and/or made fun of. lol
Both are equally as reliable with all identical powertrain.

i just saw that exact sticker on a new prius just now. then it made me think of the time i rolled up to a stop light, and these group of teens/tweens said "we like your car!" i did that thing where you look around and like.."who, me?"

I couldn't resist one day a kid in an old A4 tailing me like "lets go bro" into a 270 degree on ramp.. in which I took at about 55 mph. Him at like 40-45. Then I proceeded to pull down my 40mpg lol.
I do think mileage is less important than age on this one....but since I put on a pretty good amount of miles I would pay the extra $2500 for 75k miles personally.
If yiu have a short commute, don't drive many miles, etc, then maybe the 175k miles and 1 year newer for $2500 less makes more sense.
