Advice on buying a 2014+ ct
Looking into buying a used 2014-2017 Ct and hoping you can pass on some known issues to look out for. So far the only concerning issue I’ve read is the egr, egr cooler, and intake.
Found a 2014 F sport at the dealership with 80k, but want to make sure I know what to look for and have them check.
Thanks for any advice

Not much to check on a hybrid, particularly a toyota/lexus one. The only thing i'd check is records to see if it has them for oil changes. ideally 5k oil changes are what you should look for. or at least once a year.
at 80k miles, you really should have the transaxle fluid changed, and even the engine and inverter coolant done as well.
then get the EGR cleaning done really soon. Once you do that you'll have confidence to go another 100k.

Take it for a long drive, make sure no funny sounds. Make sure the car is not warmed up when you get there (particularly if it's a private owner or shifty looking dealer) classic trick to mask cold start problems
I did this for the BMW world, maybe i'll make a "dummies guide" on what to look for when buying a used CT. won't be as long as my BMW write up that i can say. lol
