I found a kit for sale that would add one of my favorite features to my car, mirrors that fold back automatically, my car doesn't have it and I'm not sure if the premium version does, the listing says "upgrade", to me that implies that improves or adds that functionality but Chinese websites don't have good history with translations so I'm weary that this could just be a replacement part for factory equipped cars. It's a bit pricey but I think it's worth it.
Anybody has done this type of upgrade from manual to motorized folding windows?
On a side note, has anybody looked into this other feature that tilts the side mirrors down when backing up? Is there a way to add it to the CT?
Mine came with this function but it is sometimes quite tricky to get the mirrors right.
Depending on where you have the switches set, you get different outcomes and I don't think the documentation is clear.
If someone fiddles, I suddenly don't get the windows tilting down when going into reverse, or they don't fold back on park.
I usually get there though after a bit of swearing
Looks like both features might be from the same upgrade package thank you for sharing your experience, I wonder if those issues are common, they would drive me nuts!
i can't help with auto-folding mirrors, but the moving mirrors in reverse I might have an answer to if you have that feature equipped (not sure if there is a particular trim package that has it). When the mirror adjustment switch is set to either L(eft) or R(ight), the mirrors will point down while in reverse. If the switch is set to the middle (no side selected), the mirrors will stay stationary while in reverse. I don't know which "package" we have, but we have premium sound and memory seats but not navigation or f-sport.
