Quantum solenoid 1st version
im very impressed with the results. Best engine mod for hybrids especially the CT200h. Its still wont improve the 0-60, or 1/4mile track time lol But u definitely feel more power and throttle response in normal mode. And really noticeable in sport mode. Mpg will decrease. But I started to drive in high mpg testing. Before highest was 42-44mpg. Avg 40-42. Now im getting 50-52 peak was 53. Normal acceleration easy corning. So if any drivers look for a little more out the hybrid engine. Check out qspwr.com or “quantum solenoid”

Improved mpg and/ more power
Its a really simple to install swap. Disclosure my 2014?CT200h base model. My current location midwest KC in warmer ((spring/fall)) i average 42-45mpg. (Summertime/winter) 39-42mpg. Normal. But Sport mode decreases mpg by 2-5mpg.before QS1. My drive habits varies. Using CT200h as a independent delivery vehicle everyday as I’m testing QS1 day starts by getting fuel top off gas tank.& check trip1 or trip2 miles do rn down rReset trip mileage when finished . So afterbtt try fewes
So my results get most for a I drove in sport mode. Got reading lowest reading mpg 35mpg but the mpg displayed wasn’t consistent mpg. I drive my Ct200h pretty aggressive at times. Most noticeable difference is throttle response. Engine sound a deeper tone sounds good i definitely hear. I did Install

Sorry I cant explain the entire quantum solenoid.
Sorry everyone I try my best to describe this product. Wast tryin convince anyone to get product. im no expert or mechanic. I know I don’t sense especially describing what I have done with my ct. I usually don’t post about anything. But I did on this because little info and what, why? since I did buy For anyone that considers & wants more info.
but I do feel it is a good product. give best honest description & results Fot ct200h. It only needed one, $250 but this I consider reasonable. I did a lot research before making purchase. I first heard about it seeing Japanese tuners cars. Took me a few years to find a seller in USA. Like what is it.? FYI im just guy diy things if i can. So I haven’t done much in regards to engine upgrades. Remained OEM til i 100k so nothing maintenance replacement parts coming up. This is at not all necessary. But it’s so simple install the QS1 and the intake tubing grade. But I felt like it why not and want see if what it claims and seller was legit. And located in USA. I felt confident before the buy and still feel very good about it and in end the results. That Yea its even more fun to drive. (CT200h) But isn’t that why we do these kinds things. I have been buddies their cars that requires 2 or more. Because the price multiplies. I was saying Idk if I would by if 2 or more.

These are like the grounding straps craze of the late 90s early 2000s I fell victim too. 1) Young you has some cash to burn and wants to get upgrades for the ride. 2) Someone, a friend usually, has it (today it's other guys on forums) and you want to try it too. 3) You convince yourself it works. lol
We all go through this phase I suppose. But take it from older me who used to buy lots of junk: don't! companies like Toyota spend millions of dollars and hire space grade engineers to eek out 0.5% improvement in fuel economy. If a 10-20% gain could be had by simply installing a ricer part from eBay, this would save them lots of money and make them absolute kings.
If I could go back in time, I'd tell my younger self: BUY NOTHING. Just drive the car and enjoy it as is. 99% of what you do to it will make it functionally worse.

I bought this thing like 3 years ago. Basically its like Vanos for BMW, V-tech for Honda, VVTI etc etc. You lose MPG but gain some torque. Basically adjusts timing. Only a waste of money if you can't afford to lose $250 or whatever it costs these days. I would not group this mod with grounding straps, I would group this with Intake/exhaust type mods; some benefits, but none to write home about. Just gives the car a little more pep.
