"Check Headlight System" Error
Hello, I have a Lexus CT200h (2013 pre-facelift)
After I replaced my left (LED) headlight it keeps showing the “Check Headlight System” error with “B2430” code.
The error in the car appears only when I put the lights (low beam) to ON or to AUTOMATIC (only if it’s night and the low beam will light on). When the lights are OFF or when I select the 1st scale, so only the Daylights are on (low beam is off), there is no error. By the time the low beam will turn on, the error will appear after 8-9 seconds.
The headlight is fully functioning and everything works properly but the error keeps showing up.
If anyone have any idea of what could be wrong, how I can fix this or how can I remove the error somehow so it won’t show up again, please let me know. I would really appreciate your support because we have tried several things but the error is still there.
Thank you.

LEDs draw less current than Halogens and some modern cars actively monitor the voltage and current (to derive resistance) characteristics to check if the bulb is ok. Your LED bulb will have vastly different parameters than a filament bulb, so it's possible that you may have to put a ballast resistor in parallel with the bulb. This adds an additional load to trick the computer into thinking it's powering a filament bulb. Most LED car bulb websites will have ballast resistors.

To solve this problem, add a load resister to the circuit. These are available in various places, but here's an option I found:
https://www.superbrightleds.com/head...ping%20Adgroup
The car computer looks for a specific amount of "load" on the circuit. Since the LED is not drawing nearly as much current, it basically just thinks the light is dead, even when it is not.
Or, replace the LED's with different ones that have built-in load resistors as part of their circuit already. The ones I added to my CT did not throw any codes or errors at all. It just depends on how they make the lights.
