Pic from the Dragstrip!
Took the car to the track as I do often. Suprised a couple of Mustangs, and REALLY suprised a Camaro SS! My light was a .51 to his .99 He ran quicker than me, but I crossed the line 1st !! Ran low 14.6's all nite. Car was very, very consistent. Track was very hot and temp very humid. All in all a fun nite as it always is.

those are good times for no engine mods in hot and humid weather. You could be in the low 14s with good weather.
Were there any other imports running, e.g. G35, 350Z, etc.? and what were there times?

There were a few imports. One 350Z was running about 15 flat. Most of the other imports were tuned. The 350Z was stock. There was a nice older Audi S4 (the turbo one) that ran 14.44 his first pass, but as the temps cooled and he upped the boost, he eventually ran 13.01 Fastest pass of the nite was a 9.93@145 for a GSXR1000, and the fastest car pass was a Mustang at 10.00 My wheels are made by HP, so I'm not sure about the truck wheel thing. I'm running 265 series in the back, a staggered set-up. No traction issues at all..I think with the way the GS is rather soft off idle I can't imagine anyone having traction issues on a stock GS. My 60ft. times were high 2.1's low 2.2's. I more or less used to live at the track with my bikes and snowmobiles. To be honest, the GS really pales in comparision to the 9 second passes I used to do on my bike. But it was fun to beat a couple of cars I hadn't expected to beat.
Although the quality of this pic isn't great, you can see I'm just coming off the line. You most defitnitely can see the back end of the GS squatting down on the launch. I beat the Mustang in this race. He had been running quicker than me most of the nite, but this pass he ran an 14.75..he may have missed a shift.

Wow, 15 flat for a stock 350Z, that's not good. It must have been an auto or a manual with a bad driver.
It's really cool to hear that the mighty GS4 is still holding it's own and winning races after 150,000 kilometers
