Hey Guys, I got to page 8, and my head hurts to much to read on.
I (with the help of my buddy Chris (chrisman)) built a TT SC400. I have 60% more displacment over the 1JZ (Thats Huge) I run the same trans (I hate it) TQ; new raybestos blue friction disc; shift kit; Torsen LSD; and I spin in 2nd, and 3rd with BFG drag radials.

I have spent alot of time working on the 1UZ, and the trans. My Autometer D-pic claimed a 12.8, but at the track I bested a 13.1@ 116mph 17-18PSI the car dynoed 510RWHP
I'm very happy with the progress of getting my SC400 that ran a 15.8 @ 87 to a 13.1 @ 116

I think a 2.5L running a 3600 lbs car to 107MPH in the 1/4 in 13 seconds is outstanding.
and I mean seriously OUTSTANDING!!!

My best 60' was a 2.3 My 400 doesn't leave under boost,
I was sure the time of a 13.3 was on a 5-speed, but running it with the auto is very impressive.
Congrats! you should be proud!

Ok....3 more pages of the same.

One interesting question has come up, and that is: "Why do people go to the track?"
Well yesterday was my 3rd time out to a drag strip and I've definitely learned more from yesterdays event, than I have from my past 2 trips. Here's the skinny:
1) Your car doesn't have to be fast for you to win
2) Your car only needs to be marginally consistent to win
3) If you're looking to win, never dial what you think you can run if you do everything perfectly; instead, dial what you know you can run after recovering from a ****-up
4) Know (or if possible choose) what/who you're racing

With that said:

*Hint: SC300 production ended in 2000
