Default IS350 - 13.36 1/4 mile at the strip!

Well, we finally got to the track... all stock except and LMS intake. I'm car 283.

Ran with VDIM off, ECT PWR, transmission in D, loaded and launched at 1400-1600RPM, rear tires at 29psi, and mashed the pedal! Oh - I took out the spare tire and jack too.

It was cool out (about 50*F) and the first 60' of the track was pretty slick - it was hard to get traction but I still cut some good 60' times.

Wow, pretty impressive. A trap over 100+mph is always a good thing

I really didn't think the IS350 would actually run that fast in "real life", but you're not the first person to post low 13 second timeslips.

Somehow I doubt the intake had much to do with it. I'd have been interested to see runs on the same night with/without the intake.

Yes I doubt that too. Wont be a huge difference. I was just noting that its not completely stock thats all.

very nice! i'd be interested to see how the srt intake w/ ecu would do once their's is developed.
so far, the fastest 100% stock is350 on the forums i've seen was 13.60. i myself have done 13.70 a few times. but fastest n/a modded is350 is still that one guy's 13.1x that he has duplicated more than once. i wonder if he hit 12's yet.

I believe the car you're referring to has had a good bit of weight pulled out of it, so while it might be stock in terms of motor/ecu/etc., it probably weights a good few hundred pounds less than a stocker which will make a bigger difference than a little more power in the 1/4.

Very nice dude! I wonder why you're so much quicker than other stock IS350's. Maybe your engine is broken in - how many miles do you have on it?

Goodness Gracious. There are not too many posts nowadays that impress me this much but I'm sitting in my seat reading these time slips and saying to myself, "What The Hell" How is this possible?" I didn't realize the IS 350 could trap that high. Those trap speeds are very good and consistently around 104. Good job man

If you're getting those times with suboptimal track conditions for the 1st 60 feet I'd love to see what you'd get with a stickier track.

what kind of tires were you running at the strip? Im just wondering if a set of nitto DRs would help that much as well.
