More dragstrip ET's - with headers and TQ
I went to the track again to night to verify and quantify the results from last week.
Temp: 77
Humidity: 45%
Barometer: 30.12
This is per the local town weather. I believe track temps and humidity would have been a little higher.
I'll post the full slips when I get home tonight but, in a nutshell, here's the ET's.
I think most of the 60's were 1.98 - 2.00 which is still an improvement over pre-headers.
14.21
14.12
14.13
14.17
....all at about 96mph. Pretty much identical to last week.

Great times.......How much air are you running in the rears to pull 1.98-2.00's. I always forget to lower the pressure in the rears so i have problems hooking up. Usually can only get 2.2's with normal psi in the rears. Do you think lowering to 20-25 psi would help??

Thanks AZ. This weekend is new TorqueMaster plugs, Seafoam and oil change, maybe I'll get a little bit better ET after that!
After that, the 3.76 Supra rear end goes in.
I was stuck in the 2.2's before I got the Torque Converter from PI. That put me solidly in the 2.04 - 2.06 range.
Then the recent Headers have dropped the 60' to the 1.95 - 2.00 range. I noticed your sig. had the mention of 3.76 gears, but not the TC. I would have thought you'd be lower than 2.2 with those gears When I launch, I can just STAB the gas to the floor and there is no spin. (Pirelli Pzero Nero 17x245)
Standard radial tires do not work well under low pressure at the dragstrip. They 'cup' and the sidewalls can bend...it's just bad. I actually run all 4 of my tires a little OVER the recommended when I'm at the track. (42) Less resistance.
There are no traction problems at my local track, it's pretty well prepped and taken care of.
I hope that holds true when the gears go in place!
On a different note....... I SAW DAVE CHAPPELLE TONIGHT!!!! He was just walkin' around Yellow Springs, Ohio like he lived there or sumthin'

14.188 - 1/4 ET
96.16 - 1/4 MPH
I can try resetting the ECU again, which I will, but I think I've made enough passes in 2 weeks with decent weather to say that my 60's are very noticeably better, but I'm losing those gains by the 1/8th mile and 1/4 mile.
I'm hoping that an OBD-II program could tell me if it's going lean on the topend, or, perhaps I will install an O2 sensor and a read-out to put in the car to see if it's going lean up top.
The only other possibility is that the ECU is pulling timing out.
PS. on that last note, of course I make all my runs on premium gas.
