Good luck at the track! Here are a few pointers for ya. Disable that traction control, rear tires to 28psi, fronts 45psi, remove spare, 1/4 tank of gas, ECT/PWR mode, punch it on the 3rd yellow and enjoy the ride. Once you finish and get some great times post them up on dragtimes.com

I don't brake torque the car, but I imagine you could with temps above 60ish degrees and not worry too much about wheel spin. I basically sit with my left foot on the brake and my right foot on the gas pedal so that when the 3rd yellow comes on I just punch it and pray to god that the tires don't brake traction. It happened to me one time and I was pissed, so I just kept on it spinning my tires through 3rd gear and still managed a 103.5mph run but at 15 seconds! LOL

I have to warn ya, don't be disappointed with your 1/4 time if you go there. I used to be a regular there and they were a good track back 3-4 yrs ago. Now a day ppl in the racing scene down south fla call it Moroslow. They changed management and the new folks don't prep the track as well as they used to. I was there last Wednesday and the track was so horrible that ppl came back and emailed them to tell them that they get better traction on the street than there lol.

I don't know; I thought maybe you could turn VSC (stability control = traction control?) off without affecting the rest of the VDIM functions. Maybe not.

That is correct. There is no way to turn off VDIM, only TRAC and VSC.
