Hey guys...this is a GREAT thread!!! I got a humble suggestion though. It would be awesome if we could break this up into 2 separate threads and make them each a sticky. One would be "Top 1/4 mile times for GS 300/400/430's - FI" and the other would be "Top 1/4 mile times for GS 300/400/430's - NA." The member that inputs their information could/should input their mods as well. Sometimes it's a great idea to see things in black and white on paper (eventhough there are many other factors that play into 1/4 mile times that everyone here knows; i.e. elevation, temp., hum...etc etc.)

Just a cool suggestion - Thanks again!

Car: 1998 gs300
Weight: 4250 lbs. with show wheels and driver.
Temps: 70 high huminity and very muggy.
60 ft.: 2.201
1/4: 13.6
MPH: 104

Mods: 2jz-gte non vvt-i. US Twins, 550 inj. Stock jap cams. Safc2.

I ran 13.6 at 104mph on my 21's with a slipping tranny 17 psi and coming out the hole on zero boost , I didn't want to tear into my tires. I probably would have run 13.3' 13.4's at least had my tranny not been slipping from 1st to 2nd gear. I have a spare tranny that I am going to put in next week and just got in my Nitto street drags in so I'm going to mount them on my 18's and head back to the track, raise the boost a little and I should see 12's.

Great Idea!

Can we run twin threads though?

If there's a way, let me know and I'll start a new one.

I think he ran low 13's too. 13.1 or 13.0 if memory serves me correct.

14.22 ET
99.38 MPH

Perfect air, 44 degrees F, over 30 inches barometer.

Modified air filter box, no stock rear mufflers.

4000lbs race weight with driver. No spare, no junk in car, 1/4 tank fuel.

Lousy throttle-by-wire and 225/60-16 tires limited best 60ft to 2.19

With DRs I could have cut a 2.0 or better 60ft and that would have been a 13 second pass basically STOCK.

With above mentioned DRs, a torque converter, headers and exhaust I believe a 13.5 at over 100mph would be extremely doable with the same weather conditions. Maybe low 13s.

Oh yeah, my car is a 1999... LS400,

Anyone want to meet up in Houston at HRP just PM me.
This time of year ROCKS.

Just got back from the track and ran 3 passes at 619ft altitude, humidity around 30-35 percent, temps around 66, baro around 29.71. 16.??@85, 16.59@83mph, and 16.57@83mph. No timing slip so I couldn't tell you about 60ft. My buddys didn't remember the first ET. First run I had two yellow lights, lost one and was about to put it in reverse and saw the tree turn green and it just happened to be my fastest run with VSC on. On the second run I did an ecu reset and powerbraked around 2500 RPM, no VSC and had wheel spin on the launch. Third run, no VSC, powerbraked around 2000 rpm, same wheelspin. Hmm...next time i'm out might try with the vsc on and be lighter on the launch to control wheelspin. Oh yeah, my first time on the track...was pretty fun. Our drag racing starts at midnight...pretty cool huh? On stock 16's, plp intake, l-tuned exhaust.

Got matched up with a 70's nova which ran 13 something, then a VW jetta which I won , and last was a type R sentra which got me by 3 car lengths. Lots of fun for 15 bucks.

NICE! If you ran a 14.1 w/o the PI TC. If you can duplicate your R/T...with the PI TC and the NEO you will/should be able to run 13.8's. GL!

14.385 @ 99.391 in my 99GS400, only mod was SRT intake and I had just over 1/2 tank of gas. Nothing removed, even the spare was in place.

2.181 60'
9.311 1/8 mile

And I beat the 15.9 @ 74mph civic by quite a margin, despite his slicks and horrendously loud exhaust. You should have seen the look on his face when I came by him in the grandpa sedan
