The only time I've run my car at the dragstrip, my best was a 15.4 at 93. I was having slight traction (and reaction time) issues, but was really impressed with the trap speed for having a stock motor.
You can probably break in to14's with some weight reduction (spare tire, less gas, seats, etc.) and taking some air out of the tires next time. I made 15.8 with my Celica on crappy tires, slipping clutch, stock. Killing a second off your time with just a change to a manual transmission is still pretty good. Props
