djsai, I told you that track sucked! Prep is horrible there, otherwise you would have had no problem launching on such a warm day with stock tires. For comparison sake, you can typically run stock tires above 80F with no problem at MIR. But since you were at Capitol raceway and you had to make the most of it, it does sound like you were launching too hard for the conditions. How many runs did you get in?

VSC ON won't help getting better times. The stock tires are pretty good, I managed a 12.80s at the 1/4 mile bone stock, with spare tire and jack. You need more practice, you seem to be launching your car too hard.
Wow you got 20 runs in!? I'd say you should be seasoned by now. LOL. As for shifting, I found that the deeper you wait after the shift alarm the better and have found that by actually hitting the rev limiter has been beneficial to me on the 1 to 2 shift.
True, go deep after the shift signal. I launch at around 1500 RPM.
