How good is your sound system?
I have a 1994 Lexus ES300 with 6 cd changer. The sound is excellant and it is standard, and i havent done anything to it. When i put it half way up it is really loud and doesnt burst. When i put it up all the way i cant listen to it for more than 1 minute (otherwise i will go deaf). In most of the pics i have seen they change their sound system. is urs bad standard because mine is superb. thanx for ur feedback

Our 1999 Factory 7spkr radio w/6 Disc changer is AWESOME!!!...goes right up to the top, no distortion, good overall sound quality and good bass. Its also really good having the 6-disc in the glove compartment because as opposed to a feed-in-face 6er, its hidden and can be locked so that people don't take ur CDs, and close so that you don' t have to pop the trunk either...plus it doesn't take up much space.

hmmm.....i like my factory headunit,and the speaker sounds pretty good to me,but i just dont like the tweeter...so i swap it out with some focal componets speaker,and added one JL W3v2 12inch and a alpine mono block amp for it...and now it sounds really good and i like it alot

i blew all my factory speakers when i added subs...... the speakers couldnt keep up with the bass of the subs, and they blew. i replaced them, and my new crappy aftermarket speakers blew as well.... dammm

The stock speakers in the '93 suck and should be trashed...
Right now I have *just* completed boxes for two brand new 10" kicker subs,
Am waiting on a new Sony 10 disk MP3 CD changer to arrive, along with a matching head unit.
Also I'm waiting on an Infinity Kappa component set & some kappa mid-bass drivers to replace the crappy component 6*9 setup.
Still haven't picked out two amps yet... Oh well! Work in progress for the next month as this new girlfriend is not only a seriously "live wire", but *actually* has some taste hah!
Don't shoot me for the crappy sony equipment... Their kewl MP3 CD changer is only working with their headunits... Cheap *A**A***

Yes, everything sony makes is udder crap, but it can't be as bad as that god awful Pioneer they put in our car to begin with...
Besides, it's not like I bought a Sony amp or those speakers!

my stereo is stock in a 94 the previous owner added a 12 cd disc in the trunk I am not big on listening to it loud i guess I am on my phone to much. But I have considered putting a new unit in it with a dvd.

I have a 92 es300 with the factory lexus radio and speakers. I got one kicker L7 and a mono amp running from the factory radio. This is one of the loudest and clearest systems you'll hear. My system sounds better than alot of systems that I hear that people has spent lots of cash on.
